The location of the hotel was perfect for our Easter getaway surrounded by beautiful nature. We could go on hikes right from the hotel and enjoyed the 20-minute drive to the nearby Schloss. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and was set up nicely. We loved having our own TV in each room and the complimentary water was a nice touch.
We were disappointed with the restaurant as the food was mediocre and not up to the standard we had experienced during previous visits. The rooms were comfortable but the decor could use some updating and the no-smoking room still had a faint smell of old cigarette smoke. our experience at this hotel had its ups and downs, but we appreciated the great location and breakfast.

Well-located for forest walks, clean hotel with standard continental breakfast, beautiful location in Harz National Park, excellent breakfast variety, great value Italian buffet for dinner.

We loved the beautiful location surrounded by nature, perfect for hiking. The breakfast buffet had plenty of variety and was well laid out. The staff was attentive, making our experience comfortable. We also appreciated the clean and modern rooms, as well as the complimentary water provided.
Couldn't stay longer.

The lack of basic amenities such as water and coffee in the rooms was unexpected. It would have also been useful to have clearer information about late check-ins.
